What started out as two chaps in a Scarborough gym clanging weights and talking about training regimens quickly turned into in-depth conversations about literature, film, and television, specifically revolving around the horror genre. Everything from Clive Barker to Wes Craven, John Milton to Jordan Peele, the conversations ran deep. These dialogues soon burgeoned into a partnership rooted in friendship, respect, and an unwavering sense of camaraderie.
This friendly banter evolved into musings of what they would do or not do if given the chance to produce their own horror films and series. The stage was then set. Adam Taylor and Peter Loung shared a mutual goal to deviate from the conventions of the horror medium, saluting the masters of old while continuing to push the envelope with fear-inspired narratives.
Founded to bring their vision to life, I MADE IT WORSE PRODUCTIONS is the brainchild of Adam and Peter. They have already started planning their first production, attaching an impressive team of industry veterans, including:
With such a talented roster, the project promises to elevate the horror genre to new heights, delivering cinematic fear at its finest.
Slated to go into production in the new year, WEBB tells the tale of a deranged duo of siblings and a young child who, after being thwarted at a local audition, wreak havoc on the casting assembly. The short film plays in the arena of righteous indignation and Old Testament wrath, culminating with slasher-esque bravado and delivering on I MADE IT WORSE’s mission to be in the vanguard of terror.
WEBB will serve as the first vignette of a much larger limited series, poised to redefine the current status quo of horror filmmaking. Adam and Peter’s first venture into the universe of horror is sure to make a profound impact, paving new pathways in the genre.
With I MADE IT WORSE PRODUCTIONS, the duo is set on pushing the boundaries of cinematic fear, shaking up the horror medium like never before.
