The Waxmans have done it again! They have launched another magazine: DINE Travels. Their first annual magazine is DINE, published by Adam Waxman with his mother Sara Waxman as Editor in Chief.

The focus of DINE
Travels is to explore the world, a passion for both Sara and Adam. The launch party was held at the rooftop of the Thompson Hotel one foggy and rainy evening, April 30, 2014. The complimentary first issue features a visit to Japan’s hot springs, a tour from Memphis to New Orleans on the Blues Highway as well as numerous articles “Sara Says….”.

Guests at the event were greeted by a table arranged with platters of seafood: fresh oysters on the half shell, crab legs, mussels, clams and shrimp. For those who don’t like seafood (I know there must be a few), on the opposite counter of the bar was served an array of various delicacies: beef carpaccio with shredded parmesan, hot Italian salami and sausage were accompanied by hard and soft cheeses, rustic bread and seeded crackers. For vegetarians there were several roasted vegetables and even fresh exotic fruit: lychee, mangosteen and even dragon fruit! Hors d’oeuvres of crab cakes, mushroom risotto balls and goat cheese tartlets were passed around. The bartenders showed creativity with their refreshing signature drink made with vodka, grapefruit sorbet and cub soda.

No doubt, DINE Travels will be as successful as DINE!
