殘編在上一篇台北喜來登大飯店的住宿體驗文有提及該飯店的每間餐廳都是赫赫有名的知名餐廳,包括一樓自助式開放式廚房的12廚、米其林二星的請客樓,但因為殘編現況窮酸,雖然是米其林追星族,卻還是含淚決定再低調一點的大廳酒吧用餐。喜來登大廳酒吧菜單看似偏健康飲食,味道卻一點都不差,擺盤也都精心設計,每道都超適合拍照打卡。

In my recent post on Sheraton Grand Hotel Taipei’s review, I mentioned that every restaurant in the hotel is well-known, including Kitchen 12 buffet restaurant on the first floor and the two-Michelin-star restaurant The Guest House. Although I am a crazy Michelin star chaser, I have to accept the fact that I am a disabled hobo now and settle with the Lobby Lounge restaurant with tears in my eyes. Sheraton‘s lobby lounge may sound humble compared to its other famed restaurants, but let me tell you, the food is not less impressive at all. All dishes come in Instagram-worthy presentations.

喜來登大廳酒吧位於飯店大門的左手邊,木頭為主的裝潢搭配暖色系的燈光,東方別緻的裝飾藝術搭配西方舒適的座席,典雅的裝潢下卻還能在舒適的沙發椅上慵懶的坐上一整天。座位數雖有90席,但來往的客人多,而且造訪似乎都是熟客,知道事先訂位。咱們只有兩位,所以僥倖有位子,但殘編建議還是事先訂位,以免失望。。

Sheraton’s Lobby Lounge is located on the left-hand side of the hotel’s entrance. The wooden interior is complete with warm lighting; the oriental decor is mixed with comfortable Western seats. You can sit lazily on the comfy couches under the elegant decoration, allowing one to laze the day or night away easily. Although The Lounge seats up to 90, visiting guests are plenty, and most guests have a reservation. We were only a party of 2, so they were able to squeeze us in. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

喜來登大廳酒吧菜單料理內容包含中西式餐食、調酒、鮮果飲品、風味凍飲、精緻甜點跟一些健康輕食料理。部分料理可提供淨素或蛋奶素的料理方式,菜單有西方的水準,所有品項的成分跟可能過敏原也都標示的很清楚,讓所有有飲食禁忌的饕客都能吃得安心。低消為每位飲品一杯,服務費為10%。
喜來登大廳酒吧的招牌菜包括「喜來登牛肉麵」($580元) / 牛筋麵($680元)和他們的「新加坡海南雞飯」。人氣第一的似乎是「海南雞飯」($520元),殘編下午兩點到場時已售完。

Sheraton Lobby Lounge’s menu includes Chinese and Western food, healthy light dishes, and decadent desserts. Some items offer vegan or ovo-lacto-vegetarian options. The drink menu serves an extensive list of cocktails, fresh fruit juices, and spirits. Ingredients and possible allergens of each dish are labeled clearly, so diners with dietary restrictions or allergies can eat with peace of mind. These standards are usual in North America, but not so much in Taiwan. The minimum order at The Lounge is one drink per person, plus a service fee of 10%. Sheraton Lobby Lounge’s signature dishes include “Sheraton Beef Noodles Soup($580)/ Beef Noodle Soup with Tendon($680TWD)” and their “Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice.” However, the “Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice” seems to be more popular among the 3since it was sold out early when we arrived at 2 pm.

  • 北海道干貝鮮芒沙拉 ($480) / ” Scallop Mango and Tomato Coulee (TWD$480):

三顆肥美多汁的香煎北海道頂級干貝夾入烤至酥脆的帕達諾起司片,起司片上用切丁芒果及蔥碎、旁邊附上半顆羅勒特製的小番茄皿點綴。起司片的脆搭配大干貝的嫩,一刀切下,上面的芒果沙拉酸酸甜甜的口味滲入主菜,口感香甜清爽,很好開胃。

3 Gigantic premium quality juicy scallops from Hokkaido is sandwiched between 2 layers of Grana Padano toasted cheese crisps, topped with diced mango salad, and garnished with a baby tomato and basil. Cutting through the cheese crisps with a knife, the sweet and sour taste of the mango salad above penetrates the main dish, adding sweetness and tart to the scallop. The result is refreshing and appetizing.

清蒸的嚴選挪威鮭魚將於本身的鮮甜原味完全鎖住肉質裡,盤中用鋪上酪梨沙拉的嫩蛋白、蘆筍、橄欖葉和紅藜麥點綴,在淋上主廚特製和風醬及意大利油醋調味,這一道是超級蛋白質食材的健康組合,入口即可感受甘潤鮭魚溶於口中,清爽無負擔。

Carefully select Norwegian salmon is steamed to lock in its natural sweetness. The plate is garnished with a piece of tender egg white topped with avocado salad, asparagus, olive leaves, and red quinoa. The dish is drizzled with the chef’s special Japanese style sauce and seasoned with Italian vinaigrette. The whole plate is a healthy combination of superfoods. The luscious salmon melts in your mouth, a refreshing dish without burden.

粒粒分明的白飯加入鮮蝦、蛋和豬肉絲翻炒,炒出來的˙一大碗炒飯顏色分佈均勻、飯粒粒分明,有材料的原香味卻不過鹹,吃到這,殘編不得讚賞大廚功夫好!

Rice is stir-fried with fresh shrimp, egg, and pork. A large bowl of fried rice is even in color. Distinct grains carry out the natural flavors of the ingredients without being too salty. This is when I slow-clap for the chef.

喜來登大廳酒吧酒單超厚,像品齊全,從紅白酒、各式調酒、新鮮果汁、跟用來品ㄔ來品嚐的烈酒都有,無酒精類飲品有茶、手沖咖啡、清涼果汁和氣泡水等。

The Lounge’s drink menu is extensive, with a complete range of wines, various cocktails, fresh juices, and spirits for tasting. Non-alcoholic beverages include teas, hand-brewed coffee, refreshing juices, and sparkling water, etc.

在友人還未到場時殘編點了一杯久違的香檳享受一下, 800塊錢一杯的Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut N.V.香檳,送上來卻只盛一半,但服務員硬說有150ml,雖然有些小失望也無可奈何。只知道下一杯要換別的。所附的下酒點心有迷你椒鹽脆餅、碗豆乾。

While waiting for my friend, I was feeling fancy and ordered champagne. A glass of Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut NV champagne priced at $800TWD/glass is only half-filled when served. But the server insisted that it was 150ml, so I just had to suck it up. Snacks that come with the drink include mini pretzels and peas.

各式調酒一律$380元一杯,比起香檳合理多了。殘編點「血腥瑪麗(Bloody Mary)」跟經典調酒馬丁尼。點「血腥瑪麗」其實是為了解只有加拿大才喝得到的Caesar調酒之饞,兩種調酒味道相似,皆用蕃茄汁做基底、在加入胡椒根TABASCO,。喜來登的血腥瑪麗嗆辣度調的剛剛好,杯緣用一片檸檬點綴,還附一根芹菜啃。馬丁尼是經典調酒,殘編位了考服務生的水準,烤他我髓想要的馬丁尼喜好,但是看這小姊聽我的專用名詞聽的有點矇矇懂懂,最後還是要我清楚的解釋給她聽。

Cocktails are priced at $380 per glass, which is much more reasonable than the champagne
I order a “Bloody Mary” to quench my thirst for a Canadian Caesar and a classic “Martini”. The Bloody Mary is served with just enough pepper and tabasco in its tomato juice to give me the kick I want; the glass is garnished with a wedge of lemon and a celery stick. Martini is a classic. Ever Since Belvedere Vodka invited me to a private workshop on making a proper Martini, I like to use it on all bartenders to see if they know their shyt. It turns out our server doesn’t really know the “codes” and needed me to explain in detail how I wanted my Martini.

  • 馬奎士巧克力蛋糕 ($250)/”Marquise Chocolate Cake” ($250TWD):

喜來登的甜點也是讓人欲罷不能,因為前晚已在客房點ㄌ餓「紐約乳酪乳酪蛋糕」和「覆盆莓巧克力蛋糕」,所以金天就式他們的「馬奎士巧克力蛋糕」,濃醇的˙巧克力表面有拉花裝飾,旁邊附一顆粉紅色馬卡龍和草莓點綴,甜甜蜜蜜的結束這頓餐。

Sheraton’s desserts are also irresistible. Since I already tried the ordered “New York Cheesecake” ($250TWD) and “Raspberry Chocolate Cake ($250TWD)” via room service the night before, so I opt for the “Marquise Chocolate Cake($250 TWD). A slice of rich chocolate cake is served with a pink macaron and a strawberry, putting a sweet end to the meal.
