2013 ONEXONE Annual Charity Fundraising Event During TIFF 2013
During TIFF, ONEXONE held its star-studded 2013 ONEXONE Annual Charity Fundraising Event at AMC Storys Building to help end hunger in North America and the world. The event brought together celebrity activists such as Patricia Arquette, Julie Benz, Kardinal Offishall and so on to speak out and raise awareness of the detrimental effects of poverty.
ONEXONE is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, preserving and improving the lives of children.
Did you know…
– One in eight people worldwide including Canadians suffer from hunger
– More than 46 million Americans and 3.2 million Canadians live in poverty.
– More than half of First Nations families suffer from food insecurity, including 14.% of American households and 12.2% of Canadian households.
