FE attended the LG Styler cocktail party held at Gotstyle‘s Distillery location. The party was hosted by Hollywood celebrity stylist Sophie Lopez, who was absolutely delightful when she presented some 2017 key trends and top styling tips for the coming holiday season.

Lopez has styled Kate Hudson, Camila Alves, Malin Akerman, Christie Brinkley and Matt Bellamy. Originally from London, Lopez is now based in Los Angeles and is a huge fan of Toronto, coming up regularly for the Toronto International Film Festival(TIFF)”.

She has four favourite trends for the coming season. “Seventies Sparkles” with sequined dresses, jumpsuits and coats; “Velvet” as seen in smoking jackets, camisoles, slip dresses, full suits, and scarves; “Romantic Lace” in chiffon and flowing dresses; and “Modern Full Look Knitwear” in knit shirts, pants, dresses and coats.

Lopez also introduced to usthe star of the night, the LG Styler, a clothing steamer that makes taking care of one’s clothing much easier. Suits, dresses, coats, wool, and silk clothes can now be cleaned, freshened and sanitized easily at home. The steamer reduces the need for using a professional dry cleaner, saving you big bucks in the long run, too. The Styler is portable and can be placed in any room.

Aroma Sheets help remove any odours caused by tobacco, barbecue or even sweat. Customized Cycles can be created from downloading an app to program the Styler the way you want it. Smart Diagnosis™ allows your phone to receive alerts to remind you when maintenance or repairs are needed to be done.

The LG Styler is also ideal for refreshing winter jackets, for reducing household allergens (which is critical for allergy sufferers and those with sensitive skin) and for sanitizing and deodorizing delecates such as athletic gear.
