Who’s Save The Duck and How Do They Champion Sustainability?
Launched in 2012, Save The Duck’s outerwear and athleisurewear offerings are equal parts luxurious, stylish, affordable, and eco-conscious. As the first Italian fashion company to receive B Corp certification, they proudly champion their love for nature, animals, and people on their sleeves. Or rather, inside the sleeves. One of Save The Duck’s main selling points is their use of innovative fabrics and materials and advanced technology in their garments. For example, many of the coats and jackets contain RECYCLED PLUMTECH®, a synthetic padding that’s similar to down fill but has all the benefits of a high-tech thermal
lining. It's completely animal-free, breathable, waterproof, and dries quickly. Also, almost all of the
garments contain a Digital Product Passport, a scannable QR code that reveals all of the garment’s details, including care instructions.
Highlights of the Exclusive Press Preview
At the press preview, invited guests got the opportunity to check out and model these garments with a 360° Photo Booth. Everyone looked gorgeous (and warm) in their eco-chic attire. In keeping with the spirit of sustainability, we enjoyed a beautiful and bountiful vegan charcuterie board and donut wall, courtesy of Box and Board Catering. Andrea, the Bartender, was such a bright-eyed and cheerful delight! She kept us happy all evening with her selection of specialty cocktails made with Alida Tequila Blanco. The evening concluded with mixing and mingling with the city’s top tastemakers, influencers, industry professionals, and fashion lovers.
