The 16th annual Scrubs in the City fundraiser, presented by BMO Financial Group, benefiting SickKids, which takes place Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Evergreen Brickworks.

Proceeds from Scrubs in the City go to an excellent cause, to benefit the Hospital for Sick Children. Started in 1875, the SickKids is the second largest pediatric research hospital in the world and children from all over the world are being treated here. To date, Scrubs in the City’s annual gals has raised over $4.3 million to help fund the most critical needs. And this year, funds will support cutting-edge operating suites, more room for families and for innovative technologies. All in all, benefiting the children who need the help the most.

Suggested dresscode is colourful. Put away the black and embrace pattern and textures. Feel the heat of Marrakech for a night one will never forget.

Tickets are $225.00 and available at SickKids Scrubs in the City website at: http://skscrubs.ca

  1. I support fashion ecstasy because of your great passion for fashion and I just love all the pics you post from the functions you go to and I support Sick Kids since my Nephew Ryan was born with an enlarged kidney and needed to have major surgery at only 6 months old .

Sick Kids was there for my family medically and emotionally and they were such a big shoulder to lean on and took such great care of my now very healthy normal 2 year old nephew – God bless them! They are all angels in disguise

  2. It would absolutely INCREDIBLE to attend this event!

For starters, who doesn’t love to dress up? 🙂 I saw this event while following Fashion Ecstasy on Instagram and it would be awesome to dress up and meet the fashionistas behind the account!

I also have a personal connection with SickKids that makes me hope I can attend even more! As a kid, I spent 3 months in the hospital due to heart complications. I was transferred between a few hospitals but SickKids went above and beyond any other hospital to make my experience as good as it could have been. I remember the staff being very caring and genuine, they brought us little gifts and there were always events going on in the hospital for the patients (think talent shows and special guests). While I was there, they also had an incredible schooling program, where you could go to a classroom with other kids, rather than just doing your work alone without a teacher (like every other hospital). Beyond the “hospitality” aspect, the medical care was top notch as well, the doctors and nurses were always professional and they went out of their way to make the treatments as tolerable as possible. I would love to come support this incredible hospital that has done so much for me!

A lot of people think kids who are ill have their childhood stolen from them, but SickKids does everything in their power to ensure that is not the case. I can’t say enough great things about them!!

Thanks for hosting the contest 🙂 Fingers Crossed!

  3. What’s better than having an awesome night out and supporting a really great cause. I love Sick Kids and the incredible people there.

  4. I have always wanted to go. I support Sick Kids all the time. Its such an amazing cause.

  5. I would like to attend because this is a great fund raiser for Sick Kids and I would like to support their very important work and research.

  6. This sounds like an amazing evening for such an important cause . I would love to attend and show my support !

  7. I would very much like to attend as it is an amazing cause and sounds like such a fun night out!

  8. My son is a patient at Sick Kids so my hubby and I are really familiar with the fabulous hospital. We would love to attend this wonderful event to support Sick Kids.

  9. I would love to attend this event because it supports a great cause, and Sunnybrook is the hospital that helped my bubi treat her cancer at the end of her life. I know Sunnybrook is a great institution and I would love to attend this event. It also doesn’t hurt that the event will have a Moroccan theme. I love morocco culture (I’m Jewish) and would love to experience this event.

I also look great in a dress and would line a chance to get dolled up and go on a fancy date

    1. That’s great Cheryl,
But this Gala is hosted by Scrubs in the city benefiting the Sickkids Hospital, not Sunnybrook! visit this page and enter the contest daily to increase your chance of winning the tickets! We are really happy to have you as a reader, don’t forget to subscribe to our website(enter you email and click on “subscribe”) via the right sidebar –> to receive updates on our latest post and opportunities of winning a prize like this!

  10. I’ve attended before and it was a wonderful event. So much thought was put into every detail and an impressive amount of money was raised for Sick Kids. I would love to participate again!

  11. I love SickKids…they saved my little sister’s life when she was a baby. We therefore donate to SickKids with every paycheque we receive. It’d be great to attend this event to meet like-minded individuals who care so much about the hospital.

  12. My good friend is obsessed with all things Marrakech and we are planning a trip to Morocco in 2018. I would love to win these tickets for her. This year’s theme was made for her!

My friends and I also attended the Scrubs in the City 2015 Tokyo event and had a fabulous time. I would love to go again. Great cause and great event!

  13. It sounds like an impressive event for a wonderful cause and I would love to be able to take part.
