Trouvaille’s Holiday Pop-up Shop – Christmas Shopping Made Easy

Trouvaille is French for ” A Lucky Find,” and it is also the name of the new Toronto based online retail platform (www.trouvailleonline.com) that makes shopping for fashion and interiors so much easier. And now, for one month (Nov 20-Dec 21) Trouvaille is also a holiday pop-up at Toronto’s Commerce Court (in the art deco tunnel between Commerce Court West and Scotia Plaza). Their motto is to think of Trouvaille as ” Your Stylish New Best Friend.” Trouvaille curates home, lifestyle, and fashion from companies (many that are Canadian) that meet their high standards. They showcase the goods that they enjoy using themselves and are always sourcing the best and most exciting brands.

Trouvaille‘s founder, Britt Barkwell, has had an extensive career in the fashion industry. She launched Club Monaco’s Culture Club (an editorial platform) and was the founding editor of Holt Renfrew’s Holts Muse and Holts Men online magazines. She is also a mom so she curates products that both look good and can work well with busy lives.
The pop up’s theme is “Inspired Gifting” curated by Trouvaille. Britt and her team make shopping so much easier by offering their suggestions and can customize to one’s tastes.
There was so much to see in the pop up from Mejuri handcrafted beautiful jewelry, Gee Beauty (Toronto based distributor of beauty brands like Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop) Murphy & jo candle co, ela purses , Saudade handmade Portuguese pottery from Toronto, chance & fate clothing, Jolie Laide leather bags and camera straps, Willow & Stems flowers, KIP. Sleepwear, Tess. Washed linen bedding from Montreal, Domenica Fiore olive oils and Nadege french pastries.
It was also easy to try out the furniture pieces from Elte Market which are then shipped out quickly. All other items are available to purchase and take home.
