Fashion Ecstasy Discount: TIFF Boombox 2018 Gala Party

TIFF‘s Boombox annual fundraiser takes place on Oct 25, and it will be a spooky night where every corner will have something very frightening to experience. It will be the scariest place in Toronto, with installations. based on classic movies like The Birds, Dawn of the Dead: Toronto (beware of zombies) and the House of Horrors (a not so funhouse), all curated by Kyle Kofsky.

Guests will get a chance to watch the deadliest cage match between Dracula and She-Wolf.

Toronto’s top drag queens Priyanka, Tynomi Banks, Jada Hudson, Sapphire Titha Reign, and Allysin Chaynes will battle it out in Lip Sync for Your Death.

Otherwordly extraterrestrials will be found at Alien Encounter.

Celebrity Seance will have gifted mediums bringing beloved Hollywood celebrities back to life.

There will be incredible music by DJ Kardinal Offishall and DJ Cipha Sounds and a live performance by The Ripleys.

The Coven‘s makeup team will make everyone look super frightening.

There will be plenty of delicious Halloween treats to sip and savour.

Funds raised at boombox will go towards supporting TIFF and Share Her Journey, TIFF’s five-year

commitment to increasing participation, skills, and opportunities for women behind and in front of the camera.

Come in your best costume as the winner of this year’s costume contest will win an extra special prize.

Tickets to boombox are $175 and $125 for those 25 and under.
