「雅方食品」是全台灣做冷凍加熱即食料理包及其他冷凍食品的佼佼者。其中以他們的「羊肉爐」和冰品最為出名。「雅方食品」的羊肉爐一直都是殘家想吃羊肉時的首選。所以當看到「雅方食品」今年過年推出「新春暖冬組合」套餐，當然是立即下單。

“Yaa Fang Foods” is the leader in making ready-to-eat frozen food products and other frozen commercially prepared food products in Taiwan. Their “Lamb Hot Pot” and traditional popsicle products are the most famous among its array of products. Yaa Fang‘s “Lamb Hot Pot” has always been our first choice when craving lamb. Naturally, when I see that “Yafang Food” launching their very own Chinese New Year‘s delivery meal set, I placed my order without a second of hesitation.
一般台灣人害怕的羊騷味正是長居中東世界的殘家求之不得的味道。只可惜台灣的店家都很厲害，為了迎合當地人口味，能把羊肉處理到完全沒有騷味。這一步在殘編眼裡簡直是暴殄天物。殘編尋尋覓覓了好幾年，造訪各個餐廳吃現煮的羊肉爐、甚至還大老遠跑去土城吃當地知名的當天現宰全羊肉爐，都找不到夠騷的羊肉。直到不喜歡煮飯的殘媽某天偷懶買菜買雅方食品的「原汁紅燒羊肉爐」冷凍即食包來解決晚餐，咱才驚為天人、發現新大陸，原來台灣最騷的羊肉竟是冷凍加熱即食料理包。

Most Taiwanese are terrified of the gamey smell of lambs. However, that is precisely the taste that this household loves. After spending almost a decade of our lives living in the Middle East world, we can’t get enough of it. It’s a pity that Taiwanese businesses always find a way to get rid of that gamey taste and smell to cater to local Taiwanese consumers. In our eyes, this step is a waste. I have been searching for years for a product or place to eat legit lamb. I’ve visited various restaurants that specialize in “lamb hot pot” and even went all the way to Tucheng (about an hour drive away) to eat the local‘s famous freshly slaughtered lamb hot pot that can be devoured from head to toe. However, I still couldn’t find the right lamb that’s stinky enough. It wasn’t until my mom, who hates cooking, went hunting for ready-to-eat food products to avoid cooking dinner one day and brought home a pack of Yaa Fang‘s frozen “lamb hot pot.” Turns out, all those depressing years hunting desperately for legit stinky lamb comes in the form of frozen food packages. Since then, Yaa Fang‘s frozen “lamb hot pot” has always been our go-to when we crave lamb.

冬天，就是要吃個鍋、圍個爐，好好進補一下！知名【雅方食品】的羊肉爐，是許多人吃鍋進補時常想到的第一首選！當中選用於純淨無污染環境下飼養的優質羊肉，搭配多種中藥材與獨門秘方調味，透過細火慢燉，湯頭醇濃不膩、羊肉鮮美不腥，醇香、溫潤又有飽足的口感，讓人幸福無比！

Locals crave hot pot to warm their bodies up whenever the temperature drops and winter comes. Yaa Fang has developed a pretty well-known reputation for themselves in this field. Lambs are raised in a sterile and pollution-free environment, seasoned with various Chinese herbs and Yaa Fang‘s secret recipes. The soup is mellow and non-greasy. The lamb has enough elasticity to suck and chew your fingers off while you’re at it. The lamb is so full-flavoured that you’d think a lamb is running in your mouth. It’s a pot of satisfaction and happiness.
雅方食品的「新春暖冬組合」外送套餐共有三菜兩鍋，分別為「原汁紅燒羊肉爐」、「咖哩羊肉爐」、「火鍋大小豆皮」、「非基改凍豆腐」、和「手工花枝丸」。殘家只吃過雅方的「原汁紅燒羊肉爐」，一試後便成主顧，因此就沒買過他們家其他的鍋物或其他牌子的鍋物。這次雅方食品推出「新春暖冬組合」正好讓我們有機會試吃到他們其他的商品，結果不負所望。以下殘編為您一一介紹：

Yaa Fang Foods‘ Chinese New Year‘s Delivery Set Meal includes a total of three dishes and two hot pots, namely “Lamb Hot Pot,” “Curry Mutton Hot Pot,” “Beancurd Sheet,” “Frozen Tofu,” and “Handmade Cuttlefish Balls.” It only took us one try of Yaa Fang‘s “Lamb Hot Pot” to become its loyal customers. The set meal they launched for Chinese New Year gives us a perfect chance to try their other products, and the results did not disappoint. I’ll be reviewing each item below:
- 雅方食品原汁紅燒羊肉爐 / “Yaa Fang Lamb Hot Pot”：
先從咱們最愛的經典「原汁紅燒羊肉爐」介紹起。這包冷凍即時加熱包是重量級的1000公克。煮出來先是羊騷味撲鼻而來，讓人好不興奮。鍋勺一撈是一整鍋的帶骨羊肉。因為羊肉夠騷，湯底相對感覺不需要太多調味料即可加熱成為一大鍋鮮美、「騷包」的暖身鍋

Starting with our favourite classic, “Lamb Hot Pot.” This frozen meal pack is a heavyweight of 1000 grams. Once reheated, fresh, gamey lamb smell fills the room and takes your imagination to a trip to a lamb farm where lambs are running free and happily on luscious green grass. A ladle brings up a whole scoop of bone-in lamb. Since the lamb is full-flavoured enough, the soup base does not need much seasoning to cook the package into a jumbo pot of flavourful, lamby hot pot.
- 「雅方食品咖哩羊肉爐」 / “Yaa Fang Curry Mutton Hot Pot”:
一樣1000公克重量級的咖哩羊肉爐，殘編原本沒抱太大期望，因為本以為加了咖哩，咖哩味會蓋過羊騷味，好在這隻羊夠騷，這鍋煮出來不但有誘人、讓人慾火焚身的騷羊味，還加上清香的咖哩味，讓人欲罷不能。這鍋份量大到足以變成聚寶盆，咱自己加入粉絲、茼蒿等各種火鍋料後、還能讓我們吃兩天，第二天做成咖哩粉絲，再加上雅方超大顆的花枝丸，又是一道創新美味的料理。

As yummy as it sounds, the same 1000g heavyweight “Curry Mutton Hot Pot” didn’t get my hopes up. I wasn’t sure if the curry flavour would take over the gamey lamb smell. Fortunately, this lamb is stinky enough to retain its aroma, while adding the curry‘s fragrant flavours. This pot is big enough to turn into a cornucopia. We keep adding veggies, vermicelli, and other hot pot ingredients, and we never see the end of it. The curry is enough to inspire my mom (who hates cooking, mind you) to whip up another curry dish along with Yaa Fang‘s “cuttlefish balls” the next day.

不久前開箱南門市場良心店家良品開飯的得獎名菜，看過他們誠實的成分標示，才意識到原來在咱台灣每天喝豆漿的文化世界，竟也有基因改造的黃豆。雅方一樣是良心店家，即便是台灣產的黃豆，也誠實標上「基因改造」的黃豆。這道豆皮超大塊，可以嚼很久。

If you’ve been keeping up with our posts, not long ago, I published an open box review of the award-winning dishes from X-Selecting (Liangpin Kaifan), an honest and ethical store in Nanmen Market that does not tamper with their labels. It was only then that I realized that there are still genetically modified soybeans in a culture where we drink soy milk on a day-to-day basis. Yaa Fang is also one of the scarce conscientious businesses in Taiwan. Even when its soybeans are produced locally in Taiwan, Yaa Fang honestly labels them as “genetically modified” soybeans. The beancurd sheets are large, chunky and can be chewed for a long time.

這道品名就標上「非基因改造」，可想而知是用台灣本地產的非基因改造黃豆做的。這塊豆腐有300公克，正好可以在台灣荒唐的「缺蛋之季」補充一下優質蛋白質。

The name of this product makes it apparent that the soybeans used in this product are “non-genetically modified” and produced in Taiwan. The tofu is 300 grams in weight, enough to provide us with some high-quality protein while we strive through Taiwan‘s absurd “egg shortage situation.

這道殘編自作主張加冕為雅方的招牌菜。火鍋料中的丸子類等加工食品都不是什麼好東西，台灣人愛吃鍋的習俗已有長久的歷史，所以「丸子非善類」應該是基本常識。殘編每每吃鍋都儘量避免吃「丸類」、餃類等加工食品。雅方超大顆的花枝丸是殘編一生吃過最原始原味的丸子，吃下去竟然有花枝本尊，而且還不小。一口咬下滿嘴是海鮮味、好吃到飄飄欲仙。

I crown this item as Yaa Fang‘s signature dish. I usually avoid processed foods like meatballs, fishballs, and synthetic crab meat when eating hot pot. Taiwanese people have a long history of eating hot pot, so avoiding processed hot pot ingredients should be common sense. Yaa Fang‘s jumbo cuttlefish balls are the most natural hot pot balls that I’ve ever had eaten in my life. Once you bite into it, You’re biting into a ball of natural cuttlefish ball with a significant piece of real cuttlefish in it. An explosion of seafood flavours then circulates the mouth.
